The Hotel that we stayed at was Hyatt Regency Indian Wells. The hotel its self is in Indian wells which is about 25-30mins away from Palm Springs. But the Hotel was gorgeous, they had 8 different pools, multiple different restaurants and a golf course on the property. The views were stunning from every direction.
Price: about $260 a night depending on the time of year but that does include the resort fee per person and the parking if you have a car which was about $27/day

For the more adventurous, take a hike in Joshua Tree National Park or ride the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway to get an incredible view of the valley and enjoy the hikes.

Aerial Tramway: this is a must-do when in the area. It is about 25 minutes from their down town area. You will have amazing views the whole ride up. When up there you have 300 miles of trails that you are about to hike.
- The temperature does drop 40 degrees up at the top compared to what it is at the bottom of the mountain. So bringing a jacket is a must.
- Up at their top there is a restaurant and bar if you want to get a bite to eat and enjoy the food.
- I went a sunset and recommend it. We did not have a very clear sky but you were still able to see enough to see all of palm springs.

Joshua Tree National Park: I did a day trip and Joshua tree and it is totally worth it. It is about 1.5 hours away from our hotel but worth the trip. There are numerous hikes and rock formations to explore.

Exploring the resort, if you are staying at a fabulous resort like I was lucky enough too, there is always something to see. My hotel had 8 different pools along with a golf course and spa that all looked amazing.

Exploring down town Palm Springs: this is a great way to see the city. If you have a rental car you are able to just explore all that Palm Springs has to offer. There is so many different restaurants and shops to check out that you will never know which one to see first!
If you’re a fan of architecture, be sure to check out the mid-century modern homes in the neighborhood of Twin Palms, including the famous Kaufmann House which helped Palms Spring discover there archtiectural style.
